“Jane Doe” in Owenton, Kentucky Links to Ohio and Florida.

A couple walking out for their daily newspaper in Owen County, Kentucky, discovered a body instead on May 6, 1988. She was unclothed except for men's socks, and her left hand was partially missing. A medical examiner determined that she had been strangled days earlier, and was between 25 and 40 years old. Her upper arm had a tattoo of the name "Steve". Authorities now believe she may have family or ties to Columbus, Ohio or south Florida. Though, details on how they came to this conclusion have not been released. Barrel of Bones

On November 5, 2017 a transient in Sun Valley, California was walking along a hillside when he found a barrel. The barrel appeared to have been burned. The same area had been engulfed in a fire only two months earlier. The person opened the barrel lid, revealing what appeared to be bones and called 911. The skeleton was noted to previously having "pretty robust muscles". 5’10, age 25-45. They may have died before 2008. Map Location

Palo Verde Desert Unidentified

November 1, 2009. The remains of an adult male, estimated to be over 60 years old and 6' tall, were found in a remote Palo Verde desert. The unidentified person had been deceased for at least a couple months and was unrecognizable. On the body was a gray shirt, gray socks, and gray shorts over gray sweatpants. There's was also a backpack close by but no content is listed. The case is with the Imperial County Sheriff’s ffice. Who found them? What was the contents of the book bag? A patient at St. Mary's Hospice in Tucson, AZ for palliative care died October 21, 2010 after battling lung cancer. Preceding his death he gave the fake name “Robert Johnson” to social workers. Fingerprints matched to a record under the name Robert Cessler AKA Bobby Steve Redman. Date of Birth April 19, 1945 and 103-36-3195 , a New York SSN. On his arm was a tattoo with "Bob" and "Carol". Skeletal remains of an adult female were discovered in a coastal region of the Umpqua River near Gardiner, Oregon. She is estimated to be age 30 or older. Body Found Behind Moog Factory in NC

UPDATE: This been determined to be the result of a suicide and no longer is being investigated as suspicious. At 10 a.m this Memorial Day morning, someone by the Moog building in Asheville, NC spotted the body of a woman. Police say she appears to have been in her early 40s. An autopsy is pending and should be complete in the next day or two. Investigators are considering it a suspicious death. Artist Rendering Skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area near I 435 and Truman Rd. Remains were found by an individual who was reportedly mushroom hunting.  She was found near an animal den and several animal bones were collected on scene as well. Update! They have been identified and are listed on NamUs as an unclaimed person. On July 5th, 2014 someone was found unconscious by Lake Anawana Road, at 3:29 AM, in Monticello, NY. It is not mentioned if he was found inside or outside of the pool, or by whom. Only that his clothing were found at the scene of “the pool”. He later died at a New York hospital, listed as John Doe.
