The DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s Office and the DeKalb County police department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a body found last month.
An unidentified black female body was discovered by a citizen on March 22, 2020. The remains were found near the intersection of Rockland Road and Plunkett Road in Lithonia, Georgia.
The police department stated that no missing persons reports match the description of the body.
The unidentified woman was about 5’2, 80 pounds and had short black hair.
She was wearing blue jeans, a khaki-colored shirt, a black jacket and black and blue spider socks.
A forensic artist with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation provided a sketch of what they may have looked like.
